Brandi Lynn Gear

Brandi Lynn (Nanny) Gear, 36, of Mogadore, Ohio passed away on Sunday January 16, 2022 after a long illness.

Born December 29, 1985 in Ravenna, Ohio. Brandi briefly lived in Collinsville, Illinois where she worked at a casino bakery in St. Louis. While living there she loved to travel to Chicago to eat her favorite pizza at Giordano's. She shared a love of Baby Yoda with her nephew and niece. Brandi had a great love for all animals, especially dogs. Brandi loved to make scarves and play games online.

Brandi was preceded in her death by her beloved dog Cambria who was like a daughter; grandfathers Joseph (Lou Lou) Burcham Sr. and Thomas L Gear; uncle Michael Burcham and cousin Missy Stover.

Brandi is survived by her parents Thomas W and Terri Gear; siblings Brittani (Michael) McCulty and Thomas Joseph Gear; Bonus sister Jenny (Doug) Benedict; Grandmothers Mary Burcham and Audrey Gear; niece and nephew Reagan and Colt McCulty; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for immediate family. An open house for friends and family will be 2-6 p.m. Jan. 29 at Akron Turner Club, 547 Munroe Falls Road, Tallmadge. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
