Brandt D. Anderson

April 25, 1961 — December 28, 2024

Brandt David Anderson, age 63 of Mogadore, passed away unexpectedly on December 28th, 2024.

Brandt was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, and graduated from Central Howard High School in 1979. He moved to Tallmadge, where he started a family, marrying and having two children. He worked at Fred Goddard Ford and was a Union member at Acme before starting his career as a local Class A CDL driver. Brandt worked at Industrial Tube and Steel and Contractors Steel in Twinsburg before retiring in 2015. He took immense pride in his job, often boasting about driving over 1,000,000 miles without any accidents or tickets.

Brandt was a beloved son, father, brother, papa, neighbor, and friend. He loved people and would talk to anyone and everyone. Always willing to lend a hand, Brandt was the person you could call for a favor. He was truly one of a kind—outgoing, fun-loving, witty, boisterous, loyal, and caring. He loved his friends and family deeply and would do anything for them.

Brandt had a passion for cooking on the grill and in the kitchen. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to his garden, fishing, and having bonfires. Television and music were also dear to him; he loved watching *The Price Is Right* , NASCAR and listening to loud music, filling his home and car with vibrant sounds. Brandt had a fondness for Converse sneakers and took joy in long drives, exploring new places and enjoying the open road with his radio turned up. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with those he loved, creating lasting memories.

Brandt was known for his incredible stories of survival and adventure. He often recounted tales of being drowned, shot, stabbed, run over by a tow truck, flipping over in a convertible, and surviving a motorcycle accident that left him in a coma. These stories, along with countless inside jokes and shared memories, will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Brandt was preceded in death by his father, Harry Anderson II, and his brothers, Paul and Neil Anderson. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon (David) Anderson; his son, Brandon Anderson; his granddaughters, Hailey, Hanna, Hadley, and Peyton; his mother, Benay Anderson; his brother and best friend, Andy Anderson; his sisters, C. Emma (David) Hinkle, Marsha, and Benay (David) Holmgren; his brother, John; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brandt's legacy is one of love, generosity, and an unyielding zest for life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
