Brenda L. Fowler

Brenda L. Fowler, 61, passed away peacefully April 25, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to John and Nancy (Shufelt) McIntyre, she resided in Brimfield, Ohio most of her life. Brenda enjoyed hiking, gardening, baking, collecting teddy bears and holiday decor, taking trips to Holmes County, Ohio as well as Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her father, John McIntyre, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 37 years, Mike; children, Rachel (Nick) Williams, Timothy (Maria) Fowler; grandchildren, Landon Williams, Aaron Fowler; mother, Nancy McIntyre; siblings, David (Terry) McIntyre, Dale (Carla) McIntyre, Amy (Ted) Buzinski; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, where guests are encouraged to wear blue. Interment will take place at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Brenda's name to the cancer organization of their choice.
