Brenda S. Tanner

Brenda S. Tanner, 58, of Cuyahoga Falls, went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2008. She was born March 22, 1950 in Carbondale, Illinois. Brenda was a faithful member of the First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge. She was a loving individual with an infectious smile and was always willing to help those in need. Most of all, she loved her son and family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa A. Tanner; and brothers, Paul Edward and Terry Ray Tanner. She is survived by her son, Kevin A. Corbett; father, Paul J. Tanner; sisters, Barbara (Richard) Lehman, Mary Tanner and Wilma (Steve) Jones; brothers, Arthur, Norman (Patti), Roy and David Tanner; special companion Don Morton; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Bulgrin officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to First Apostolic Church, 199 South Ave., Tallmadge OH 44278.
