Brenda K. Unrue, "Mama" age 74 of Akron, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2020.
She was born on October 17, 1946 in Lenoir, North Carolina, the daughter of the late John and Numa Chester. She is also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Glenn Abbott; her brother, Terry Chester and her grandmother, Pearl Chester.
Brenda loved her family, being outside and taking care of everyone.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Kelly (Paul) Fox, Stacy Abbott, Buddy (Tammy) Unrue and Lil Jimmie (Kimmie) Ralston; nine grandchildren, Kory, Alyssa, Chelsey, Shawnee, Abby, Cassidy, Boogie, Gabe, and Livie; and one great-granddaughter, Laila .
We would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Grace Hospice.
Private visitation will take place by invitation. For those of you attending, you are to ADHERE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEAR A MASK.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
