Brenda Lee Weist

Brenda Lee Weist, age 51, of Akron, Ohio, passed away after a long illness on March 23, 2021 at Akron City Hospital.

She was born on June 30, 1969 in Akron, the daughter of Kathleen (nee Anderson) Vincent of Akron and the late Kermit Weist.

Brenda graduated from Ellet High School in 1988 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, automobiles and animals. Brenda Loved the Color Purple!!!

If you ever heard her laugh, you would never forget it.

In addition to her mother, other survivors include her siblings, Wanda (Mark) Hsu, Larry (Stephanie) Weist, Carol (Dennis) Messner and Karen Carpinelli; her step-siblings, Lavonne Vincent and Ronald Vincent; and her companion, Nathan Ketterman Sr; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, along with a host of other family members and friends. Also surviving are her pets, Stella Louise, her dog and her cat, Batman, they were her children.

Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 12:00 PM, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 PM.

Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
