Brian E. Bragg

Brian E. Bragg, age 55 of Akron passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021. A lifelong resident of Akron, Brian was born on December 10, 1965 to Don and Sandra {Cozart} Bragg.

Brian was preceded in death by his father Don, and many beloved family members.

Brian's memory will live on in his children Faith (Jonathan Doak) and Thomas Bragg; longtime companion Teresa McGee; mother Sandra; sisters Sheila Robinson and Melody Bragg; brother Matt (Jen) Bragg; nephew Jarrell Smith; former brother-in-law Chandler Robinson; longtime friends Ed Burke and cousin Clayton Cozart; many dear friends and extended family members.

Brian was an avid and talented pool player, even opening his own pool hall in Alliance, Carnation City Billiards. He loved fishing and playing board games, especially chess and Scrabble. Brian's favorite hobby was woodworking, finishing home projects with the skill of a professional carpenter. His goofy personality kept his family laughing (and sometimes rolling their eyes), and earned him many a silly nickname in return.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron on Saturday, July 3, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the 12:00 noon funeral service, with Pastor Diane Richmond officiating. Following services, it was Brian's wish to be cremated.
