Brian T. "Buck" Mesenger, Sr.

Brian T. "Buck" Mesenger, Sr., 51, died Friday, April 13, 2007 as a result of an accident, in Port Charlotte, FL. Born February 14, 1956 in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Oliver Mesenger and Esther Cornell of Akron, and stepson of the late Ken Cornell. He was also preceded in death by his niece Meghan Mesenger. Buck was the husband to Beth F. (Bailey) Mesenger, his sweetheart of 20 years, of Port Charlotte, FL. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #2121 in Port Charlotte. His passions included his motorcycle, the Florida Keys, tropical shirts, his swimming pool, Jimmy Buffet and the Cleveland Browns. In addition to his wife and mother, Buck is survived by one son, Brian T. Mesenger, Jr. of Stow; one sister Mary (Dave) Melton; brothers Dan, Mark (Kathy), Steve (Rea), Jeff (Michelle), Eric (Jamie) Mesenger, and Skip (Cathy) Cornell; nieces and nephews Jennifer, Melissa, Ben, Kristi, Becky, Shannon, Channing, Matt, Adam, Olivia, Mike, and Daniel; great nieces and nephews Jessica, Heather, Ryan, Kevin, Camden, Belle, Bryan, Ben, and Robby. Calling hours will be TODAY, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 12-1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Thursday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
