Bridgette Tywana Irvin was given her wings to fly home with the Lord on September, 06, 2023. Born to Doris Irvin and the late James Moten Sr on July, 24, 1965, in Beckley, West Virginia. She was a very beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She graduated from Garfield High School, then went on to college to study Accounting. Then Bridgette and Charles H Collie started a family, having a son, her pride and joy. Bridgette accepted Christ and continued her journey in faith, becoming a Minister at Saints Temple Ministries, while spreading the Gospel to others with her strong faith in God, she truly loved the Lord and her family.
Bridgette leaves to cherish her memory her mother: Doris (Allen) Irvin-Wilson, Son: Charles D (Sylvia) Collie, Sisters: Tiffany Irvin, Lee Lee Moten, Alishia Dowdin, Patricia Moten and 3 others sisters, Brothers: James Moten Jr and Corey Dowdin, Mother-in-law: Marie Moten, grandchildren: Javohn, Stevohn, Devohn & Caryn, Nephew: Kevin Scott, Aunts: Mae(Leon)Brown, Ruth Scott and Cherita (Jerry), God sister: Tiara McKenzie and a host of cousins, nieces, friends and the late Auntie-Ma: LaComa Irvin.
A home going service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Saints Temple Ministries, 1162 Old Main St. Akron, OH 44301. Visitation hours are from 11-12. Funeral services will began at 12 noon. Interment will take place at Glendale Cemetery. Eulogy, Pastor Terry McKenzie, Officiating, Elder Maurice Garrett.
