Brooks David Weaver

Brooks "Red" Weaver was born in Lost Creek, WV on January 26, 1944. He passed away, after a short illness, at Akron General Medical Center on March 7, 2022.

Brooks leaves behind the love of his life, Judy. They started out as partiers who fought like teenagers to partners sitting beside each other for hours, just enjoying each other's company or playing rummy. Their love grew as they aged. He also leaves behind 6 children, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved them all. He had a special bond with his son Tom and daughters Cyndie, Delores and Theresa. They were his rocks, taxi drivers, grocery shoppers, friends and support system.

There will be a service at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312 on Wednesday, March 16 at 11:00 a.m. for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to American Cancer Society, because CANCER SUCKS! To leave a message for Brooks' family, please scroll below.
