Bruce E. Hockensmith

Bruce E. Hockensmith, 66, of Akron, passed away on July 20, 2024. He was born on March 23, 1958 the son of the late Bud and Jane Hockensmith. He retired after 25 years of dedicated service from E.S.I. He was a proud member of A.A. for 14 years. Bruce enjoyed the outdoors, fishing,camping and swimming. He had many achievements but his greatest was his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Dan.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Cindy Bartley; son Dan (Autumn) Bartley; grandchildren Kaleb Bartley, Aleah Bartley, and Kenzie Bartley; sisters Sue and Cathy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, on August 18th, Sunday, at Galt Park 2000 Oneida Ave. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
