Bruce Lee Lesko, 72, of Freedom Township, passed away on March 27, 2022. He was born in Cleveland on August 28, 1949 to the late Edward and Florence Lesko. Bruce was a regular churchgoer and formed a connection with several congregations in the area. He had many interests, including collecting antique lamps, shooting home movies, and rollercoasters. He had a YouTube channel devoted to the history of rollercoasters and some of his film footage was included in a documentary on Idora Park in Youngstown. Bruce took pride in caring for his family and spending time with them was his highest priority. He was always dependable, on time, and ready to help.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Amanda Bryant, Andrea (Reuben) Boise, Jason Lesko, and Kirk (Sarah) Lesko; brothers, Edward (Patricia), Ron, and Brian (Lorri) Lesko; grandchildren, Eric, Andrew, Yvette, Henry, Ilonka, Manoah, Isaac, Kyle, Alanna, Liberty, Charles, Julian, and Sylvia; and many extended relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 12-2 followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Bruce will be privately laid to rest at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township.
Bruce's services will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
