Bruce G. Roberts

Bruce G. Roberts, 92, passed away peacefully February 17, 2024. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Robert and Nellie (Wagner) Roberts, he resided in the Akron area all of his life. Bruce was a U. S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked at Bond Bread as well as Wonder Bread before later retiring from Chrysler Corp. Bruce enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, and spending time with his family, especially his late wife Jane, who he met at Swenson's and were married for 57 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; brother, Robert Roberts. He will be sadly missed by his children, Jim (Laura), Bruce (Bev), Steve (Laura), Gary (Leona); 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Friday, February 23 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
