Bruce Donald VanRiper, age 60 of Akron, Ohio, died on September 25, 2020 at his home.
He was born on November 6, 1959 in Akron, the son of the late William and Rosalind (nee Hupp) VanRiper.
Bruce was a bus driver for Paul's Equipment. He loved animals and kids and he never met a stranger.
Survivors include his two sisters, Cheryl "Cherie" (Art) Size of Murfreesboro, TN and Kay Lee of Akron; his sister-in-law, Barbara VanRiper; his uncle, Wendall Paul; his nephews, Bradley Boelhower, Christopher VanRiper, Scott VanRiper, Eric VanRiper and Brian VanRiper; his great-nephew, Nicholas Kopcha and his great-niece, Nikki Green; his cousin, Vicki Gattuso and other cousins throughout the USA and various friends.
Other than his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his two brothers, Louis "Louie" VanRiper and Charles VanRiper; one niece, Rosalind "Rosie" VanRiper; and two cousins, Larry Paul and Cathi Bogavich.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
His cremated remains will be buried in Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, Ohio.
