Bryan N. Griffin, Sr.

Bryan N. Griffin, Sr., 80, passed away December 15, 2019 at Altercare of Wadsworth. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Alma (Hein) Griffin, he resided in Brooklyn, Ohio most of his life. He was previously employed at both Lau Industries and Skill Tool & Die, where he worked as a tool & die repairman. Bryan enjoyed playing cards, reading, music from the 1950's, traveling to Las Vegas, collecting Franklin Mint model cars and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Bryan is preceded in death by son, Bryan, Jr., and brother, Dale. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn; son, Ken; grandson, Joe; siblings, Elaine Hawkins, John (Doris), Ken (Sharon); several nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will immediately follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Bryan's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
