C. Allen Neighorn, 80, of Akron, passed away on October 13, 2022 at his home, 1083 Lane St., Akron, OH 44307.
Allen was born on March 14, 1942 to Roy G. and Grace L. {Timberman} Neighorn in San Diego, CA.
Allen worked as a teacher in various school districts (including his own private school) for The Department of Education of the State of California. Allen was, throughout his career, a qualified psychological counselor in a variety of roles, including for The California Department of Corrections.
Allen is survived by his loving Best Friend Forever, Robert F. Frazier, Esq.; brothers David R. (wife: Jeannie) Neighorn and Steven Neighorn.
A brief service, followed by a celebration of Allen's life will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 beginning at 6:00 p.m., and concluding at 8:00 p.m. All are welcome to share their fondest memories in honor of Allen. To leave a message for Allen's loved ones, please scroll below.
