C. Ronald Crane(RC, 68, of Akron, passed away January 8, 2009 after a hard fought battle with COPD for many years. We as his family have never seen such a strong will to live, never complaining and trying so hard to live. He was ready to join the rest of his family that had preceded him in death. His suffering is over. RC was the owner of Crane's Sunoco in Barberton, Crane's Sunoco on S. Main St., Akron, and Ron's Mini Mart in Randolph. Survived by son, Carl Lamont; sisters, Shirley Willoughby, Linda Crane; brothers, Ray Hollin (Marceil), Everett Hollin (Henrya); many nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12:00PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton,Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
