Callie Ransom

Callie Ransom, 87, of Fairlawn, passed away July 30, 2001 at Arbors of Fairlawn. She was born July 11, 1914 in Memphis, Tennessee to Charlie & Allie (Pew) Sanders. She is survived by her daughters Callie (Louis) Butler of Los Angeles CA, Allie (John) Wright of Akron, Arvinta Pinkard of Cleveland, Cleta Ransom of Cleveland, Shirley Ransom of Cleveland, Delores (John) Coffer of Columbus and Vicky Ransom of Cleveland; sons Carnell Ransom of Cleveland, Oscar (Merlien) Arnold of Cleveland, James (Too) Ransom of Ravenna, Donald Ransom of Cleveland and Nathinal (Marie) Ransom of Cleveland; 55 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Mr. Van Goodwin officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. The family will receive friends and condolences following the interment at Charles Goodyear Memorial Pavilion, 2077 Newton St., Akron OH 44305.
