Caren Lee Gray, age 61 of Akron, Ohio, died on December 15, 2021 at Western Reserve Medical Center, Cuyahoga Falls.
She was born on July 6, 1960 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harden and Joann (nee Thompson) Rich.
Caren was a tremendous caregiver, always taking care of those she loved most. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was an exceptional and loving wife to Michael Gray, whom she married on April 8, 1978; her son, Justin (Jenna) Gray; and she was a devoted grandmother to McKenna and Austin Gray.
Her sister, Theresa and her husband's parents, Howard and Shirley (nee Plant) Gray also survive.
Other than her parents, Caren was preceded in death by her two sisters, Donna and Ruth.
Per Caren's request there will not be any calling hours or services and cremation will take place.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
