Carl E. Hendricks

Carl E. Hendricks, 84, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2021 after a brief illness. Carl was born in Warren, Ohio to Carl and Margaret (Kovach) Hendricks. He had lived in Suffield, Ohio prior to retiring and moving to Gandeeville, WV for 15 years. He then returned to Ohio, residing in Tallmadge. Carl was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired truck driver for Roadway Express, driving over 3 million miles during his career. He greatly enjoyed his simple life in WV, sitting on his front porch, and spending time with his family and his dogs. He enjoyed word search, hotrod magazines, and his daily devotional.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his son, Carl "Duke", granddaughter Stephanie, great grandson Jack. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Lora, children Mike (Jodi), Kim (Dale) Smith, Steve; grandchildren Josh, Shannon, Liz, Jenn, Adam, Rachel, Melissa, Theresa, Brandon, and Brian; 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Per Carl's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services at this time. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life for his immediate family at a later date. Those who may wish to make a memorial donation in Carl's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
