Carl McKenneth Newberry
Carl McKenneth Newberry, 80, of Mayfield, Kentucky, passed away January 24, 2006. Carl proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a POW. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Carl was a truck driver for 30 years, having worked for Motor Cargo and Consolidated Freightways. He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Newberry; son, Mitchell (Kristi) Newberry; daughters, Cathi (Bobby) Lowrey, Carol (Larry) Ellinger, and Sandy (John) Griner; brother, Ray (Beth) Newberry; sister, Mildred Breedlove; sisters-in-law, Janet O'Neal and Evelyn Grady; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com.
