Carl Dean Nichols

Carl Dean Nichols, age 72, of Uniontown passed away on February 14, 2024. He was born on February 24, 1951, to the late Roscoe and Sylvia (Kvenild) Nichols. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1969 and went on to get his master's degree from Kent State. Carl served in the Coast Guard Reserve. He was a talented woodcarver and a dedicated word puzzle solver. Carl loved meeting new people and keeping up with old friends. He was a man of faith and family.
Carl is survived by his wife of 50 years Renee (Schafer) Nichols; daughters Carla Nichols, Kim (Aaron) Angelo; grandchildren Ryan, and Katie; and 4 siblings.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church of North Canton. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service also at the church. Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
