Carol G. Bolyard

Carol G. Bolyard, 79, of Uniontown, passed on September 21, 2017 at Rose Lane Nursing Home. She retired from Edwin Shaw after 33 years of working as a nurse's aid. Carol was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and taking care of her beloved cats.

Carol will be deeply missed by her husband of 60 years, Gene Bolyard; son, Steven (Diana) Bolyard; granddaughters, Alisha (Jeff) Russ, Jennifer Bolyard; great-grandson, Graham Russ; brother, Ron (Patricia) Hutchison; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Betty) Bolyard and Bud (Carolyn) Bolyard; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Paul) Linamen, Gayle McElwain, Shirley (Ron) Stayer, and Pat Hutchison.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Wanda Hutchison; brother, Jake Hutchison; brother-in-law, Russell Bolyard.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Sunday September 24, 2017 from 6pm-8pm and Monday September 25, 2017 from 11am-12pm with a funeral service to immediately follow. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
