Carol Agnes Brumbelow

Carol Agnes Brumbelow, a beloved matriarch, passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on December 23, 1940, Carol lived a life filled with selflessness, humor, and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

A dedicated wife to her husband Richard "Joe" Brumbelow, she cherished her role as the heart of her family. Carol was the loving mother of three sons, Michael, Allen, and Stephen Brumbelow, providing a nurturing home where the values of kindness and acceptance thrived. Her family expanded beautifully with the arrival of her grandchildren: Jonah, Jacob, Brittany, Hanna, Abigail "Mac," and Kyle, as well as her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Anna, Vincent, Leah, Eva, and Dominic Casto. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she treasured the time spent with them, sharing her wisdom through stories, laughter, and cherished experiences.

Carol was known for her spunky spirit and caring nature, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer sage advice. She had a deep passion for Bible study, which reflected her faith and the values she imparted to her family. Her hobbies included collecting recipes and words of wisdom, showcasing her dedication to nurturing both body and soul.

She is survived by her brothers Bob Friedmann, Joe Wollman, John Wollman, and her sister Joanann Hile, who will remember her as a source of joy and inspiration. Carol was predeceased by her father Frank Friedmann, her mother Lillian Valentine, her sister Linda Molker, her grandmother Agnes Valentine, and her mother-in-law Mary Oma Brumbelow.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carol's life at a Mass to be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, located at 2580 Berne Street, Akron, OH 44312, on December 10, 2024, at 12:00 PM. This gathering will allow loved ones to come together in remembrance of a truly remarkable woman who indeed was full of life, love, and laughter.
