Carol Jean Cross-Taylor

Carol Jean Cross-Taylor, 68, of Akron, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013. She was born on January 14, 1945 to the late William and Elna Cross. Carol retired from Summit Co. MRDD and enjoyed arts and crafts and spending many weekends at her camp site.
Carol is survived by her sons John Cross and David (Tina) Cross, brother William (Beverly) Cross, 3 grandchildren; Christie, David and Jarrett and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Taylor and brother James (Louise) Cross.
Friends may call 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Art Fields officiating.
