Carol Jean Russell, 71, passed away on September 13, 2016. She proudly served in the US Air Force. Carol worked for Akron City Hospital since 1966 as a registered nurse. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, David Russell; and parents, Donald and Margorie Guthrie. She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Sarah) Russell and Timothy Russell; grandchildren, Savanah and Ella; brother, Fred Guthrie; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Monday September 19, 2016 at 2:30pm.
