Carol Marie Koeberle, 59, passed away peacefully at Essex Health Care on September 26, 2010, 5 days before her 60th birthday, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Carol was born in Akron where she made it her home. Born to Thomas and Mary Lou (Fier) Koeberle who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her brother, John Koeblere. She is survived by sisters, Suzi (Jeff) Henderson and Rose (Jack) Brown; brother, Leo Koeberle; sister-in-law, Sue Koeberle; nieces, Mara (Nyah) Koeberle, Caitlin (John) Budd, Allysa Koeberle and Rebecca (Cierra) Klum; nephews, Jacob Brown, Josh Brown, Christian Taylor and Jordan (Erica) Taylor; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Also in Carol's life were very special friends, Sophie Elefritz and Margie Foster. Carol gave her life to Christ and was a longtime member of Tallmadge Church of God. She was a beautician by trade for 20 years. Carol was involved in many other charitable organizations. She was also honored with the 1st Humanitarian of the Year Award by the Girl Scouts of America. Carol's mission in life was to help other people. Carol will be missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her. Upon Carol's request, cremation has taken place. Please remember her as the Carol we knew and loved. A memorial service will take place at Manchester Christian Church, 930 W. Nimisila Rd., Akron OH 44319 on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Jack Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, send condolences to Suzi Henderson, 404A White Pond Dr., Akron OH 44320.
