Carol Ann Lee

Carol Ann Lee, 68, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2016. She was born in Akron, OH to the late Orlin and Grace Shanafelt. She was an LPN for over 40 years. Carol enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, boating, and reading. She was a devout Christian who was a member of Coventry Crossing Christian Church. She loved helping others and serving her church.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert; son, Robert II (Jessica); daughter, Heather (Richard) Mills; brothers, David and Charles Shanafelt; sister, Barbara Marshall; grandchildren, Brianna (Gabe) Riffle, Jessica Mills, Paisley and Fisher Lee; one great-grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday December 8, 2016 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Graveside service will be held on Friday December 9, 2016 at 10:45am at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Pastor Randy Brown officiating.
