Carol Rose Williams, born October 9, 1938, passed away Ocotber 11, 2008. Carol was born in Skelton, West Virginia to the late Ralph S. Williams and Stella M. (Lafferty) Russell, who also passed away on October 11, 2008. She worked hard all her life and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cooking. She retired from Monsanto, Co. (MEMC) in San Jose, CA after 25 years of employment. Carol was recently employed by West Virginia Association of Community Bankers in Beckley, WV. Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Scheetz of Florida. She is survived by her son, Raymond R. McElroy, Jr. (wife Maggie); granddaughter, Elizabeth McElroy; sister, Ann Phillips of West Virginia; brother, Bobby (Mary) Williams of WV; sister, Mary Ellen (Roy) Flueharty of Florida. The family would like to thank the hospice team at Akron City Hospital for their compassion and kindness shown to our loved one. Private family ceremony will be held in Pax, WV.
