Carol Ann Schroeder

Carol Ann Schroeder, 74, peacefully passed away from an extended illness on December 20, 2020. A longtime resident of Akron, she was born in Johnstown, PA on June 14, 1946. Her life goals were to be a great mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, of which she accomplished. Carol enjoyed singing country music, painting landscapes, and taking care of her pets. She was also a proud military wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Martha Faulkner; husband of over 50 years, Jimmie G. Schroeder; and grandmother, Ann Durana. Carol is survived by her children, Rick (Michelle), Tim (Andrea), and Jack (Christy Flynn); grandchildren, Erica (Matt) Davis, Deanna, Drew, Kyle, and Jack Schroeder; and great-grandson, Rhett Davis.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, December 26 from 10am - 12pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held at 12pm. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
