Carol L. Swaney, age 71 of Akron passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. She was born on March 31, 1950 to the late Guy and Catherine {Bailey} Casto, Sr.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother Guy L. "Sonny" Casto, Jr. and sister Valerie Casto.
Her ornery spirit will be fondly remembered by her sons, Timothy (Lisa) Swaney and Jason Swaney; grandchildren Paige, Zane and Harper Swaney; step-grandsons Robert, Eric and John Santy; special great-nieces and -nephews Isaiah, Jocelyn, Lucas and Aleah Casto; many extended family members and friends.
Carol's professional accomplishments included ownership of M.T.I. and Professional Answering Service Systems.
A private service was held for the family, and Carol will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. To leave a message for Carol's family, please scroll below.
