Carol A. Woods, age 72 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died at her home on October 12, 2022.
She was born in Harrisburg, PA on October 11, 1950, the daughter of the late Rudolph Spolar and Madeline (nee Selmek) (Eugene) Delugach.
Carol liked to golf, bowl, visit amusement parks, garden, and canoe, however and her greatest joy was being with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Jon B. (Miranda) Woods and Jennifer (Bret) Simmons; her grandchildren, Justin (Missy) Simmons, Jenna (Ryan) Hentsch, Jessica Simmons, Payton Simmons, Jacob Simmons, Jamie Oaks, Lilly Oaks, Brian Woods, Madeline Woods and Camry Oaks; and her great-grandchildren, Erich, Penelope, Elijah and Arianna.
Her step-siblings also survive, Gary Delugach and Denise (Randy) Martin.
Other than her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her best friend/cousin, Edward Dominy; and her step-siblings, Debbie and Robert.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Following all services, Carol will be cremated.
A special thank you to Southern Care Hospice for all of their love, support, comfort and care that they showed our mother, Carol, during this most difficult time, especially Jennifer and Kim.
