Carole Coddington
Carole Coddington, 70, passed away on October 31, 2007, after a 20 year battle with breast cancer. Born on October 3, 1937 in New Castle, PA to the late Walter and Akila Chernyavsky. She worked for 20 years at General Motors in Hudson and also for several years at Terex. Carole received the Honorary Alumni Award from the University of Akron for her donation of scholarships to Biology students. She is survived by her first and only love, her loving husband Robert of 43 years; son Eric (Debra Rezack); sister-in-law Sharon (Bill) Gainer; brother-in-law Dick (Kay) Coddington; cousin Gene Adamczyk; and many dear friends and co-workers. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Thursday, 11 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Pastor Robert Steenrod officiating.
