Carole Ann James

Carole Ann James, age 83, passed away on October 17, 2022 in Tallmadge, Ohio. She is now with our Lord in Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stanley and Pauline Elizabeth James.

She is survived by her brother, Stanley Mark and Judith Ann; her niece, Christine Merriman; her great-nephew, Nicholas Merriman; her great-niece, Ashley (Merriman) LaDue and Jon, and children, Lincoln and Lively.

Carole was a graduate of Kent State University in 1962. There she earned her Bachelor's in Physical Therapy. Then she joined the Peace Corp for four years. Worked in the northeast area and relocated to Wisconsin, where she taught and did Physical Therapy for the county while earning her Master's and Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin. When she retired she moved back to Ohio.

Her hobby was photography. She was truly an Angel on Earth. A member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in her early years and St. Paul's Church in the later years. She will be greatly missed by all she touched.

There will be a memorial service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305 on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 3:00 PM, where family and friends may visit from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
