Caroline Ida Barrett, 82, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2011. She served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of the Polish-American Club. Ida was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Barrett. She is survived by her children, Beth Stover, Valerie (Dennis) Harper, and Kay Hall; grandsons, Eric Hall, John Hall, and Robert Hall; 2 great-grandsons; and many nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 5, from 5 to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Inurnment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
