Caroline Jean Lutz, "Jean", age 78 of Atwater, Ohio, passed on January 28, 2020 at McCrae Manor in Alliance, Ohio.
She was born on June 24, 1941 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William Valigora and Margaret Caroline Jones.
Caroline was a elementary school teacher, teaching in Hawaii and Ohio; she enjoyed and loved all things Christmas and anything cats.
Survivors include her only son, Christopher M. (Sarah "Jenna") Lutz; and her sister, Judy (Bub) Howell.
Other then her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Raymond Lutz Jr. on June 8, 2014, they were united in marriage on August 11, 1962; and her step-mother, Irene Valigora.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
Jean will be buried next to her husband, Ralph, in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
