Caroline S. Chapman
Caroline S. Chapman, 88, of Stow, passed away March 4, 2010. She was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania on May 11, 1921. Caroline will always be remembered for her wisdom and her love of reading, travel, and playing cards. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Caroline was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Valentine and brother, Gerald Porter. She is survived by her children, David A. (JoAnn) Chapman, Barbara A. Boyes, and Bonnie L. (John) Salyer; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including special niece, Jill and special nephew, Jack; and special friend, Kathy. The family would like to thank Area on Aging, Hospice of Summa, and Caroline's aide Amy for all their care. A memorial service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Cuyahoga Chapel Church of God, 2106 Fourth St, Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Richard Woodin officiating.
