Carolyn J. Holloway, 74, of Ellet, passed away May 7, 2014. She was born in Ely, NV on June 2, 1939 to the late Nelson and Virginia Lewis. Carrie loved her Lord and her church Akron-Springfield Assembly of God. She was an avid reader, gardener and enjoyed feeding the birds.
Carrie is survived by her husband of 11 years, Lester; sons, Robert Murdock, Daniel Osman, Christopher Osman and Roger (Missy) Holloway; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Montgomery; great-granddaughter, Gianna; sister, Nelsene.
Family and friends may call on Friday, May 9, from 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mark Hadinger officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W. Market St. Akron, OH 44313.
