Carolyn J. Suttle



Carolyn J. Suttle, 71, passed away on February 2, 2009. She was born in Akron on October 9, 1937 to the late Sylvester Edward and I. Ruth Wasson. Carolyn was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved her children and taught them many things, including embroidery and crochet. Carolyn was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple and the Mogadore Moose Lodge #852. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ruben and brothers Ronald and Bob Wasson. Survivors include daughters Cheryl L. (Suttle) Wagoner and Joann J. Suttle; son Michael F. Suttle; sisters Della Rae Wasson and Susan Reagan; grandchildren Michael S., Kurtis A., Deanna L., and Victoria R.; her cat Soul; very special friend Carolynn Dugan; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend deepest gratitude to Windsong Care Center, Akron City Hospital, St. Thomas Wound Center and Dr. Rasper for their care and support during Carolyn's illness. Calling hours will be Saturday, 10 a.m. to Noon at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with a funeral service to follow at Noon, Pastor Michael Freeman officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Windsong Care Center or the American Diabetes Association.
