Carolyn Sue McCardle (Joseph)
Our beloved Carolyn passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was a proud lifelong member of the Orioles Nest 167. She was also a past Supreme President, a title she held very dear to her heart. Carolyn made many lifelong friends and memories in the Club.
She was a treasured daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Alma Joseph; her brother, James Joseph; as well as her husband, Frank McCardle; and her life partner, Ramon Luna Leon.
She is survived by her children, William (Melissa) Lowers and Tracy (Dave) Crouser; grandkids, Kara (David), Richard (Theresa), Alysa (Bill), Aryk (Rochelle), Myranda (Ryan), Ryan and Breonna (Kody); great-grandchildren, Kora, Jaydyn, AJ, Cynthia, Baylee, Hazyl, Luna and Calliope.
Carolyn loved trips to her hometown in West Virginia to see her family there. She had a very special relationship with her Aunt Judy who will miss her greatly; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family that she adored.
Carolyn loved this time of year. Her favorites were mums and other fall flowers, she treasured the colors of fall.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305) on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 12:30pm until 2:00pm. Her Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation with Rev. Jerry Jarvis officiating.
A dinner will be held at the Orioles Nest 167 (2166 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44314). A covered dish to share would be greatly appreciated.
