Carolyn "Sue" Shaffer Harrah Taylor, born October 27, 1937 in Salem WV to the late Lemmuel and Pauline Shaffer and moved to Akron OH in 1950. Sue was the office manager for Dr. Clifford Bachman and retired in 1993. Later joining the practice of Dr. Dennis McCluskey & Associates of Mogadore. Known as Auntie, she was employed for 19 years.
Sue was an active, dedicated member of the Mogadore Chapter 852, Women of the Moose, where she currently served as recorder. She was an avid bowler with the Wednesday Nite ladies bowling league where she served as secretary.
Preceded in death by her brothers, James and John Shaffer. Survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Ronald; her loving children, Jack (Mary), Michael, Pat (Bonnie), Susie, Julie; sister, Jackee (Frank) Campailla; sister-in-law, Peggy Shaffer; grandchildren, Jackie, Hollie, Michael, Trisha, Alisha, Natasha, Kelly, Michael, Vincent, Ila; great-grandchildren, Christian, Jaden, Kaimon, Brody John, Charlie and Sidney; many nieces and nephews.
Sue will remain in their hearts and memories forever.
A Celebration Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 23, from 1-4 p.m. at Mogadore Moose Lodge 4095, Mogadore Rd., Mogadore, OH. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Women's of the Moose.
