Carrie G. Moore
Carrie G. Moore, 88, of Akron, passed away April 27, 2013. She was born in Paden City, West Virginia to the late Harry and Gladys Martie. She was a past matron of Ellestar Chapter #565 and a longtime member of Lakemore United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir.
In addition to her parents, Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Bobby; and brothers, Dillon and Dale Martie. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Connie (Starley) Smith; sister, Sara (Michael) Mihalcho; grandchildren, Kim (Corey) Caster and Pam (Joe) Paparone; great-grandchildren, Kian Caster and Cory Crimaldi.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 30 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
