Catherine Loraine Smith, 85, of Akron, passed away December 24, 2012. She was born in Flemington, West Virginia on August 13, 1927 to the late Orval and Minnie Mick.
Catherine loved spending time with family, friends, and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Betty Mick. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Phil (Sheree), Kenneth, and Robert Jr.; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jonathan (Stephany); and sister, Joyce (Edward) Cashman.
Visitation will be Monday December 31 from 9:30-11:00 followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
