Catherine Margaret Wilson (nee Warner)
Catherine Margaret Wilson (nee Warner), 82, went home to be with her Lord on August 25, 2005. Kate was born in Powhatan Pt., OH to the late Dewey and Alpha Mae (Bennington) Warner, the eldest of nine children. Upon the passing of both her parents at a young age, she stepped up at age 15 to fill the role of mother to her brothers and sisters so that the family could remain together. She was an avid reader, loved to sew and crochet, and made special jeweled Christmas ornaments for her family and friends. She had a very "green thumb". She loved Jeopardy. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and recently attended AMBC. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Hugger" Harold; brothers, Edward, Elmer, Russell, and Bob. She is survived by her son, Dana Wilson and daughter, Pat (Bob) Tressel of Akron; brothers, Glenn (Betty) Warner and Luke (Jean) of Akron; sisters, Anna Mae (Don) Bonnett of Uniontown and Ruth (Rollo) Lyberger of Cuyahoga Falls; special sister-in-law, Marie Warner of Akron; and Brownie, her beloved dog.
