Catherine "Cathy" Ann (Admire) McGuire passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 66. She was born on May 3, 1957 in Lincoln Nebraska to parents Robert "Bob" Admire and Janice(Hussey) Admire. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Kim "Ryan" McGuire and her miniature long haired dachshund Annie. She is also survived by her 5 siblings Dan(Sheila) Admire, John(Carol) Admire, Steven Admire, Suzanne(Mohsen) Pourett, and Dianne(Vikki Garrod) Admire.
Cathy was the oldest of 6 siblings who all loved her joyful laugh and her sense of humor. They loved her creative cards, which always delighted them when they showed up in the mail. And they will always appreciate how she pulled the family together with cooking challenges, birthday parties, and games. In a large group of siblings, she stood out as the voice of reason and champion of fairness.
Cathy was a member of 4 card making clubs; Happy Mail Card Club, Sisters in Stamping, CLOCK, and Designing Women. Cathy's husband is a runner but she was not. She did, however, participate in SARC Running Club activities and made numerous friends there.
Cathy was dearly loved by her husband, dog, siblings, card club friends, running club's friends as well as numerous other friends. She will be deeply missed.
There will be a Celebration of Cathy held in the Crooked River Room on the top floor of the Giant Eagle Market District 2687 State Road Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44233 from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Food and drinks will be provided. Come and stay as little or as long as you like as we share our memories of Cathy.
