Catherine E. Parker
Catherine E. Parker, 77, of Mogadore, passed away March 1, 2008. Catherine was born March 6, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. She will always be remembered as a loving, caring, generous person and will be missed by all who knew her. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, William Parker. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Gale) Beagle of Mogadore, Judy Funk of Mentor, and Alvin (Carol) Parker of Dublin; sisters, Peggy Ward of Akron, Helen Riffle of West Virginia, and Clara Setser of Akron; brothers, Earl and Jim (Edna) of West Virginia; grandchildren, Michelle (Dennis II) Davis, Tricia Beagle, Cody Parker, Kristen Funk, and Allison Funk; great-grandchildren, Heather Davis and Dennis Davis III; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Jenna from Summa Homecare and Cheryl from Hospice of Summa for all the care given to Catherine. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. with a funeral service at 2 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Pastor Tom Heinlein officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
