Catherleen M. Fletcher (Cat)
Catherleen M. Fletcher, 75, of Akron, fell into the arms of her Lord and Savior on September 20, 2010. Catherleen was born January 25, 1935 to the late Ed and Virgie Ware. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of thirteen and was a member of Israelite Baptist Church for over 50 years. She recently became a member of Zion Temple Baptist Church. One of Catherleen's proudest achievements was earning her high school diploma at the age of sixty-two. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fletcher and fourteen brothers and sisters. She will be deeply missed by her children, Paul Ware, Monica Lacy, Ricky Fletcher, and Simon (Peggy) Fletcher. She leaves her sisters-in-law, Christine O'Hara and Lillian Fletcher. She also leaves her goddaughter, Caroline Morgan. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a 12:00 p.m. funeral service at Zion Temple Baptist Church, 515 Ardella Ave, Akron. Rev. Mark Ward will provide the eulogy. Burial will take place Monday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.
