Cecilia M. Johnson

Cecilia M. Johnson (nee Labbe), 88, resident of Mogadore, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was born on September 24, 1925 in Akron to the late Edward and Teresa Labbe. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Cecilia was also a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Mogadore VFW and Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 62 years Edward Johnson, brothers; Jack, Edward, Richard, Joseph, Lawrence, Leonard, James and Paul.

Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Ronnie) Renwick, grandson, Mitch (Jaclyn), sister Mary Ann, many nieces, nephews, friends and the most wonderful neighbors. The family would like to thank the Mogadore Paramedics for their tender care of Cecilia.

Friends may call 10-11 am on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, following visitation at the funeral home with Fr. Mike Williamson officiating. Final resting place will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
