Cecilia Rusky, age 96, born in her childhood home in Wheeling, WV on March 11, 1924, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. She spent most of her adult life in the Tiltonsville, OH area.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Anna {Blaz} Staszewski, her husband of 12 years, Frank L. Rusky, Jr., four sisters and one brother.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Anne (James) Moyer, of Akron, and Gregory (Carol Ksiazek) Rusky; and grandchildren Lindsay Moyer and Joseph Moyer.
Cecilia loved to sew, and made a career out of her talents. She was an incredible cook, tweaking each recipe that she made from scratch to make it perfect. Cecilia spent quite a bit of her last five years in the Akron area, crocheting an average of an afghan a month, playing bingo and doing word puzzles.
Due to the current circumstances surrounding the coronavirus, all services will be private. Interment will take place at Upland Heights Cemetery in Yorkville, OH.
