Charlene M. Hipp

Charlene M. Hipp, 82, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on November 4, 2021. Charlene was born in Akron on May 6, 1939 to the late Charles and Angela Haddox. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and made afghans for all of her family and friends. She also loved to read and was an excellent baker. Charlene was a longtime member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Hipp; and sisters-in-law, Linda Haddox and Lori Haddox.
Charlene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David C. and Margaret Hipp; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and William Roberts; brothers, Butch, Gary, Terry (Judy), and Richard (Terri) Haddox; grandson, Brandon Wolfe; great-grandson, Isaac Wolfe; numerous nieces and nephews. Charlene's beloved dogs were also like family to her. She is now reunited with Daytona and will be missed by Ozzy.
Per Charlene's wishes, there will be no formal services. A celebration of her life will take place on a later date.
